Design brief

Perched on a cliff with panoramic views across the Pacific Ocean the brief was simple. A total rebuild to existing footprint and envelope maintaining the integrity of a weatherboard beach cottage. View from every room but total privacy from adjoining. Influences of the Aman Resort style for places of reflection and Tai Chi beside a new pool. A dedicated Kitchen sanctuary cooking and serving for four focusing on the food and the view.
